The Calendar that never was!

Some of the shots on the edit desk during post-production

During 2013 we shot another Charity Calendar that unfortunately never made it to print.

The management at one of the town’s public houses asked us to shoot pictures, based in and around the pub, for a calendar to raise money for Help the Heroes and Breast Cancer charities.

A dozen plucky lasses and lads, who either worked at or were customers of the pub, stripped off for the cause.

I must say they all did brilliantly. And over four separate photo sessions we got some cracking shots that would have resulted in an absolutely stunning calendar.

Sadly, within a week or so of us delivering the pictures, two of the barmaids had lost their jobs and apparently one half of the management had been arrested for allegedly assaulting the other.  So that was one third of the shots down the drain and we were never approached to do any reshoots.

Obviously we are sad that the two charities will miss out on badly needed funds. But most of all we feel sorry for the girls and guys who put their heart and soul, as well as their bodies, into the photo shoots.

Even though a disk of the images was handed over, the copyright remains with us and they were only licensed for use on that particular proposed calendar.  So those involved can rest assured that the images cannot be used elsewhere without our express and written permission.

If any of the subjects would like to see their pictures, all you need do is get in touch.
